Solo insert song for the dra Kim Jun Su (김준수) (also known as Junsu or XIA) is a Korean Pop singer and musical actor under his self-established label Palmtree Island. He is a member of the trio JYJ. Kim Jun Su's vocal prowess (inherited from his mother, who used to be a singer) was discovered when he was 12. Xiah wanted to be a soccer player but after seeing H.O.T perform the song "Candy" on TV, his new dream was to sing on stage. He trained for 6 years before been selected as the first member to join Tong Vfang Xien Qi. In 2007, he formed part of the Samsung's Anycall project, Anyband, and released one single with the band, "Anyband". In January 2010, Xiah started his stage career as the lead actor for the musical Mozart!. Following the path of his group-mates, in March it was announced his debut as solo artist with the release of a double A-side single in May 26. On April 14, 2010, Bigeast (Tong Vfang Xien Qi's official fanclub in Japan) announced the creation of a new unit with the members JEJUNG, YUCHUN and JUNSU. According the announcement, the three members signed a new contract with avex which allow them to start their activities as JUNSU JEJUNG YUCHUN, the new unit name. Kim Jun-su (Korean: 김준수; born December 15, 1986), known mononymously as Junsu or known under the stage name XIA (SHEE-ah; 시아) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, dancer and musical actor. He is a member of JYJ, and was one of the original members of boy band TVXQ, where he was formerly known by the stage name Xiah Junsu (시아준수). In November 2021, Kim formed his own agency Palm Tree Island, with him as CEO. Kim made his debut in 2003 as a member of TVXQ, a boy band produced and formed by South Korean record label and talent agency SM Entertainment, having previously been a trainee for six years. He had released four Korean albums, four Japanese albums, thirty Japanese singles and several Korean singles with TVXQ in the six years his career. In 2009, Kim and fellow TVXQ members Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, arguing that their exclusive contracts were unilaterally disadvantageous towards the artists and should be invalidated. The Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the three and granted an injunction suspending their contracts. The trio reunited and subsequently formed JYJ (formerly known as JUNSU/JAEJOONG/YOOCHUN in Japan). With JYJ, Kim has released one English album, two Korean albums, one Japanese EP, and one Korean EP. Kim began his solo career in 2010 with the release of Japanese EP Xiah, which peaked at number-two on Japan's Oricon singles chart. After the release of Xiah, Kim's solo music career was sent into hiatus because of a discord between him and his Japanese label Avex Trax that led to the sudden suspension of all his activities in Japan. Later that year, he made his musical debut with took the role of Wolfgang in Mozart!, receiving critical acclaim and commercial success. In May 2012, he made his solo debut in Korea with released his studio album Tarantallegra and also embarked on his first headlining world tour. Best known as a former member of South Korean boy band TVXQ (2003-2009) and currently JYJ (2010-Present), he has branched out to act in musicals. EARLY LIFE Kim Junsu was born and raised in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His mother was a former Miss Korea contestant and he has an older fraternal twin brother named Kim Junho. In elementary school, he was a member of a dance group ‘SRD’, which stood for song, rap and dance with childhood friend Eunhyuk of Super Junior. Junsu was signed by Korean talent agency SM Entertainment after his participation in their 6th Annual Starlight Casting System.
