Dresden (; German:[ˈdʁeːsdn̩]; Upper Saxon: Dräsdn; Upper Sorbian: Drježdźany, pronounced[ˈdʁʲɛʒdʒanɨ]) is the capital city of the German state of Saxony and its second most populous city after Leipzig. It is the 12th most populous city of Germany, the fourth largest by area (after Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne), and the third-most populous city in the area of former East Germany, after Berlin and Leipzig. Dresden's urban area comprises the towns of Freital, Pirna, Radebeul, Meissen, Coswig, Radeberg, and Heidenau and has around 790,000 inhabitants. The Dresden metropolitan area has approximately 1.34 million inhabitants.
Dresden is the second largest city on the River Elbe after Hamburg. Most of the city's population lives in the Elbe Valley, but a la
Klopp sees shades of old foe Matthias Sammer in versatile Fabinho
Six or seven years ago, it is fair to say Jurgen Klopp and Matthias Sammer were not on the best of terms.
Sammer, then Bayern Munich’s sporting director, was attempting to take Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund, where Klopp was manager. With Bayern and Dortmund due to meet in a Champions League final, Klopp gave an interview to The Guardian where he appeared resigned to the idea that his centre forward would leave because that is what happens, “when Bayern wants…” He then paused to think about what he was going to say next about the leading club in the Bundesliga. “It’s like James Bond — except they are the other guy…” he eventually said.
Given that he was trying to stop what was supposedly such a villainous superpower, Klopp gave the impression that he believed it was morally important that Bayern should lose at Wembley. “I think, in this moment in the football world, you have to be on our side,” he added, and this led to headlines in German newspapers, one of them being “Jurgen Klopp chases Dr. No.”
The response from Bayern came via Sammer who, in attempting to shrug his shoulders, ended up seeming rather bothered by Klopp’s comments. “To think the whole world is behind you is not a form of humility,” Sammer stated. “It is like it is: We have freedom of speech in Germany. He comments on certain things and we don’t. If Jurgen Klopp thinks it is good idea to put certain images into the world, then it’s his responsibility. We just don’t have to feel addressed. That is not our standard. We control ourselves and behave with modesty and humility.”
You don’t think of Klopp as a manager with many enemies but Sammer — certainly in the period where Dortmund and Bayern were competing for trophies — became one. The 2012-13 Bundesliga season ended with a dead-rubber fixture and on that occasion, Klopp and Sammer clashed on the touchline after Sammer said something that Klopp could not hear. “I wa Cameron has the ability – both technical and athletic – to play as a new version of a sweeper, one that makes the same surging, forward runs of Beckenbauer and Sammer with the ball, but stays square and plays as a pure central defender without it. It’s a natural evolution for both the player and the position. Cameron’s spent about half his career as a central defender, excelling at the position in 2009 when he should have won MLS Defender of the Year (no offense, Chad Marshall). But personnel losses and Cameron’s innate skills and attacking instincts compelled Dynamo coach Dominic Kinnear to play Cameron primarily as a box-to-box central midfielder ever since then. It didn’t work. Cameron’s played well, but while he’s gifted as a midfielder, he’s not going to make anyone forget Jean Tigana or Lothar Matthäus. Or even Stuart Holden and Dwayne De Rosario, really. He’s not the kind of guy who’s going to work in tight space and create; he’s at his best when he’s on the run, playing one-twos with teammates and putting the his opponents into a backpedal. As the season went on, the Dynamo and their 4-4-2 were solved to the point that Cameron was neutralized as a midfielder. Each of their games became more-or-less a series of Brad Davis crosses. That was the only way they had to beat you. Two weeks back Kinnear finally threw up his hands and stuck Cameron in central defense for what looks like a permanent assignment. And Houston’s fortunes have changed. Part of that is because Cameron is faster, stronger, better on the ball than anyone else Houston could put back there, and the first rule of soccer is “Play your best player in his best spot.” Cameron’s presence on the back line simply makes Houston a better defensive team. But another part was moving another natural center back – either Jermaine Tay People with red hair This list includes people with natural red hair. Red or ginger hair may come in different shades, from strawberry blond to auburn. With only 2% of the world's population having red hair, red is the rarest natural hair-coloration. The list includes people who have dyed their red hair into another color or whose red hair has gone grey with age, but not people who have dyed their hair of other colors red. Biblical figures (such as Esau and Judas Iscariot) or characters in classical mythology appear in the list, but characters from modern fiction, such as Anne Shirley from the Canadian novel series Anne of Green Gables and Ginger Hebblethwaite from the BigglesPelagia novels, do not.
